Mountain biking

Mountain bikers can enjoy over 200 km of uninterrupted forest trails leading nearly all the way to the peaks. The fact that you can take in breathtaking views and fresh, clean mountain air instead of the noise of traffic and stifling exhaust fumes makes every excursion into the awe-inspiring mountain landscape a very special experience. Exceptional areas for skilled bikers, such as the Gaistal valley mountain paradise, the Karwendel Alpine Park and the Wildmoos landscape conservation area, as well as family-friendly tours, for example from Seefeld to Reith, make the region a veritable heaven on earth for cyclists. We also offer a wide range of services for bikers, including high-quality bicycle and equipment rentals, pulse watches, GPS tracking devices and maps, repair and maintenance, shuttle service, packed lunch service, laundry service and much more. When you get here, ask about the guided bicycle tours that take place regularly.

HIKING – NORDIC WALKING – ROCK CLIMBING
There are 650 km of marked hiking, mountain climbing and via ferrata trails leading through the plateau and through the impressive surrounding mountain ranges of the Karwendel Alpine Park, the Wetterstein mountain range and the Wildmoos landscape conservation area. Regardless of whether you prefer a relaxed stroll or a challenging trip to the peak – if you are a hiking enthusiast, you’ll be enchanted by the breathtaking views and the unique natural landscape.
In addition, the entire region is connected by a wide-ranging, perfectly marked network of Nordic walking and running paths. Thirty different trails encompassing 266 km are the perfect place to get in shape and at the same time enjoy the extraordinary natural surroundings.

TENNIS

Whether you’re a beginner, a hobby tennis player or a professional – if you enjoy playing tennis, then don’t forget to pack your racket when you set off on holiday, because here you’ll have the unique opportunity to play on some gorgeous courts! The Swedish Estess tennis school has been training up-and-coming professional tennis players and hobby athletes in Seefeld according to an internationally recognised training model since 1985. A total of 10 indoor courts and 17 outdoor courts are available, so you’re sure to enjoy a good game of tennis regardless of the wind and weather.

ALPINE SKIING

The ski areas in this Olympic region will set every skier’s heart aflutter! Sunny, excellently prepared slopes and state-of-the-art lifts translate into pure enjoyment. There are 48 kilometres of slopes and some 30 cable cars and lifts available. And snowboarders will also find just what they’re looking for in Seefeld: The Crazy Hole fun park offers 12 exciting obstacles. For those who want to keep skiing in the evening, Rosshütte offers the perfect opportunity to do just that: Wednesday and Friday, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

With 266 kilometres of perfectly prepared trails for all skill levels, this area offers something for everyone. The region gained global recognition through the Nordic competitions held during the Winter Olympic Games in 1964 and 1976 as well as the Nordic combined in the Cross-Country World Cup in January 2004. It offers a balanced mix of traditional and skating trails. On the 3 km cross-country skiing trail between Seefeld and Mösern, you can practice your favourite sport at night, too. Numerous floodlights illuminate the entire trail Monday through Friday, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.
