This is because the range of games and recreational facilities we offer is so big that often there's not enough time to eat. Children should have the opportunity to discover a new world every day. It's all one big adventure to them, and children want anything and everything but boring holidays.

Falkensteiner Family Hotels place great emphasis on guaranteeing qualified, entertaining and professional child care. We divide children into different age groups and then we carefully match the care and services offered (activities and entertainment) to the different needs of the various ages.

The age groups and activities for children at a Falkensteiner Family Hotel are:

Falkinos (3-6 years)

The scheme for 3-6 year olds is geared to getting to know each other in a playful environment and having fun adventures, with the emphasis on a range of activities in a caring environment. Typical activities include:

Swimming and skiing lessons
Fairytale sessions and Punch and Judy shows
Petting farm and snowman hunts
Craft activities and much more.

Falkys (6-9 years)

This age group focuses on exercise and sporting activities. The scheme incorporates all of the hotel and the grounds. Children get their personal Falky Pass stamped as they take part in the different activities and have the chance to win great mystery prizes. Typical activities include:

Swimming and skiing lessons
Riding lessons and climbing
Fishing and water games
Magic show and hotel rally
Treasure hunts and Nature trails with educational aspects, and much more.

Falken (9-12 years)

Falken care concentrates on sport and creativity, with the hotel surroundings being used a great deal. Typical activities include:

Ball games: football, volleyball, etc.
Uno tournaments and billiards
Inline skating and children's gymnastics
Creative design (e.g. T-shirts)
High wires climbing course, mountain biking, and much more

On fun Falky Mottotage themed days, all organised activities are geared to one specific theme. The hotels will be filled with lots of little Native American Indians or fearsome pirates, Olympic sportsmen and women or top chefs. There's no time to be bored!
